It all started when my wife heard some of her songs over the radio (Malaysian radio station – Chinese channel). She wanted me to get her both her album. None of the Malaysian Hainanese Associations has her albums. No music shops carry her album.

Then one day, my wife told me about her show in one of the temple in Kuala Lumpur. She told me one month in advance so that I could reserve that date for her. The show was held in an open air area and the rain that night spoilt the fun. Nevertheless, my wife and I continued watching the show with an umbrella. We were the only couple who remained seated. Others rushed for cover during the downpour. Unfortunately, we were still unable to buy her albums. Neither were we able to meet her in person that night. Despite the rain, she put up a terrific performance.

Then one day, I received a call from one of the committee members of the Hainanese Association of Malacca. She asked if I could help to promote her songs. She said Mai Eng was willing to promote the Suukee brand.

So after a few meetings, we agree to collaborate. She will use her talent to promote Hainanese culture in general and Suukee brand in general, hence the website www.suukeemai.com Click N Ring Sdn. Bhd. will be her main sponsor to produce her video clips and to provide her a platform on the Internet to promote her works.

However, she needs funding to continue her works. So we hope that you can make some contributions to keep her going.
